High resolution versions of some of the photos can be found on my astrobin.
My gear
I am using a Newtonian reflector telescope with an aperture of 200mm and a focal length of 1000mm for an F-ratio of 5. The pictures are taken with an old Canon DSLR camera that I astromodded myself. This, mounted on my trustworthy motordriven equatorial mount allows me to take pictures of deep sky objects such as galaxies and nebulas.
- Telescope: Skywatcher Explorer 200PDS
- Mount: Skywatcher HEq5 GoTo
- Camera: Canon EOS 550D (astromodified)
